Have you ever walked into a space and it had an impact either positively or negatively on your mood, that's emotional engagement and what all hotel brands are attempting to achieve. So as designers how do we help brands achieve this? Mies Van Der Rohe said "God is in the details" and that has never been more true than in today's design world. With products lines evolving, the market becoming more globally influenced by the day and hotel brands driving design, it is the details that will set the design apart. As designers we must be intentional about our designs not just creative, we must be thoughtful without being cliche, and we must be bold in our conviction of the design story we are creating. As we see good design daily but oh to create bespoke design that is impactfull, emotionally engaging and memorable, that has the ability to change mindsets and create an atmosphere, now that is what we are called to do.
